Throwing tires

I got my xmod going pretty quick now, but the drawback is that when I take tight corners a tire goes flying off and the car rolls over. What is a good adhesive that won't melt the rubber of the tire, but will stick fairly well?

get some harder tires for the rear.

use normal school glue. not the stick ones. they hold and are removable too.

get the tires and wheels you want and use CA glue.

i use super glue but beware its not removable and im on my second set of sticky treads(i run em till one gets a hole in it then buy new tire)second pair are now slicks and im going to need new tires soon

as long as it stays mostly dry rubber cement works real well.

Yeah, go with rubber cement, I used wet rubber cement because my tires always flew off, rubber cement makes it so the tires are removable and can still stick (no need to reapply)

these

CA glue is your best bet, regular old Testors type model glue is a good bet too.

lol this is what i do but i need to find a better method so i can save time remounting new tires. sometimes i run till the tire rips off partially and starts flapping against the body :D

by that time i usually have to remount i have bent rim on the car...

wouldnt school glue just come off under hard driving? im thinking rubber cement as the smartest choice?

meteoraclown 07-25-2004 02:55 PM

it never came off mine till i took it off.

cyrc 07-25-2004 03:42 PM

your car must not be as powerful as mine my car definintly couldnt handle school glue(i know because it was one of the first things i tied)i think ill try rubber cement as soon as i have some handy its not really available to me so ide have to buy some but my ways working fine for now since i usually go through a pair of tires about every month or two depending on how much i drive it and how
