Idea for electronic Nos system
Ok well i was thinking thos led sfor the light kid are getting power form the batts so why not take that power ( i tested it with vlot meter turned out to be about 4.25 volts formn the connector on the car) and store it up in a capacitor then when the throttle is pressed all that enegry is realleased. Ok this will happen becasue when u turn on the controller the lights come on so when u turn the controller on the cap will charge. Let it charge for wutever the period of time is. then when u throttle and the cap sees a load it will rellease all that stored enegry giveing u a quick boost. Good for launching of the line! Anyone will any comments or ideas or "facts" plz dont hesitate to reply.

Well first of all NOS is Nitrous Oxide Systems, which is a company, and Nitrous is Oxygen rich gas so it would be impossible to have Nitrous in a Xmod (there electric). Second of all I am not sure if Your "electric NOS idea" will work, wouldn't a capacitor just hold the energy to be used at a later point in time? It would proably be faster if You just left out the capacitor idea and leave it the way it is. Some palces sell electronic turbo's and stuf for Your xmod, (the woah nelly, MiniZ turbo, nitro charger). Can You please type a little clearer with out all the miss spelled words too. Thanks

sorry bout typing i try to type fast obviously i aint too good at it. anyway i will rephrase nitro simulation

Thats been done. See xmodspeed.com Don't waste your money there though, because you can "make" your own - not sure where to get the caps though...

RE: where to get caps
Um.. i'm starting an online business to sell FETs, Capacitors, different size lithium ion batteries, and I'm probably goingto experiment with motor windings and sell those motors. So I'll let you know when I get the site posted.

First of all, it's been done. Secondly, I think it's the board that the lights are hooked to the controlls when the get the power and stuff, so you'd have to hook it up to that. Third, why not just put it on your battery holsters, like everyone else?? It stores the power, and when you give it gas, it let's it out, so you get a boost off the line, just like you want!

wow how do you think the lights are getting powered? there hooked up the batteries, so it would do nothing at all because the lights use power taht the rest of the car would be getting but isnt because your runningl ights...g0dz0rz

the lights run while the car is running, the car draws a constant voltage but not all the voltage of the batteries cuz the rest is used for the lights so put all the power to the motor. it just makes sense.
