XMOD/HPI rumors
 

Well, everyone, I have heard a few rumors on this forum about HPI marketing and selling the xmods, and I am sorry if this is already public knowledge, but I took a picture of an RC magazine in Japan. It was an ad for XMODS, with HPI, and no Radioshack logo to be seen anywhere.

HPI only markets it. (just like Radioshack)
i dont think they will make any parts for them though.

What's the name of that magazine and can I get it in the states?

i hope HPI starts making parts for XMods.

but my question is:
why does HPI wanna associate with XMods anyway?

i guess they both win,
Radioshack gets more buyers... (cause HPi = good so pple must think Xmods must = good also)
and HPI probally gets a certin percentage.
Radioshack has good money making schemes.

But hpi isn't saying they are in with xmods in the united states. The only thing I can say is that I don't think anyone in japan would buy from radioshack.

yeh i know but this 1 guy tried to short change me a buck and then i chewed his ass out and was pissed at that store ever since, but most of the people at RS are nice but very dumb so they have clue about what i am saying LOL Like Nick man he's awesome he helps do whatever i want even if it is against the warranty he's so KEWL!
