Fastest Motor???

I know I don't post much here, but I was wondering what is the fastest motors, made for Bits or that can fit in Bits, and where can I buy them? 4.8 is the fastest I have heard of, and them a 5.0 in a cell phone on some post on this website. Thanks

Same question. I haven't been around for forever. I mean, my stuff is so old that I'm still running the old Skyline set :D .

The best I've heard of was the 4.2... but I don't know how good the TinyRC motors are. 4.2 is supposedly high torque AND high speed, and works best with stock (orange) gears. I can only imagine a 4.2 with the stage 2 FET mod from MicroAmps and 2-3 cells... :)

I've also heard of 4.8s, but have no idea where to get them.

Fastest motor: 4.2pro, from toyeast.com or at ebay.com (seller: toyeast) from Kowloon, Hong Kong. Many of the users here including myself, have ordered from them with no problem.

If you don't want to wait for the 2 week delivery time, the walmart bit clone called Motorworks has a hardwired 4.2 motor with plenty of torque. Also, the knobby wheels of the Motorworks clone (with the shorter wheelbase similar to Microsizers) provide the best traction for your mini rc. Unfortunately, you will have to solder the wires from the hardwired motor to the motor contact wires of your zipzap. This shouldn't be a problem if you are handy with a soldering gun.

Also, remember if you are ordering from toyeast, you want the 4.2pro and not the 4.2 motor. The 4.2pro has a light blue endbell color.
