I really like mine and I also have a mini-T.I like running the mini giant more than the mini-T.

The mini giant and mini-T are different types of truck so it depends on what you want to do with it.

The mini giant suffers from stiff springs (really stiff)and just friction shocks so suspension needs work, the mini-T also comes with just friction shocks so it bounces and needs oil filled shocks (I have some rear GPM shocks made for the mini-T coming for my mini giant).
The mini giant also has a steering issue, it's not serious it's just that the steering servo is mounted in the chassis and when the front suspension is compressed on one side it will bump steer the truck but that can be fixed with an axle mounted servo setup.

I like the mini giants esc/receiver even though it does not have brakes it can take a standard servo unlike the esc/receiver on the mini-T which has a goofy non hobby grade 4 wire servo setup.

One thing about the mini giant is the battery holders they use, they have a goof proof system the allows you to not have to worry about the battery polarity when installing the batteries which sounds like a good idea but it doesnt work.I dropped my transmitter and then tested the truck to make sure it still worked and noticed only 2 of the 3 leds lit up and noticed the battery compartment was getting hot so I shut it down and took the batteries out and 2 were to hot to hold 3 or 4 others were warm.I now have a 9.6v battery soldered in for my transmitter battery and can charge it through the charging jack already built into the transmitter, I just had to buy a charging cord that fit.

Both trucks are good trucks and both truck needs mods to make them handle well so it comes down to what you like to run the most.

can i switch the crystals and use a regular radio or do I gota run the venom one? i want a crawler so the giant is proly better for me since i have a problem with breaking cars that i can run out side:D do you know how to get broken screws out of a E-Maxx bukhead brace by chance?

I have ran my mini giant a little with my futaba magnum 2pl and it worked fine I just didnt have an extra crystal to leave in the truck but it does work.

most broken screws can be removed if you carefully slot what is left of the screw with a dremel cut off wheel then turn it out with a flat screwdriver.
