if i was to pick up some lithiums does any one have plans for a lithium AC charger?

That regulator circuit will work. You may not need both the 7812 and the 7805, depending upon what voltage you plan on running. The 7805 alone goes up to 35V.

question for neuro or jshwaa. what's the difference betwenn your fet mod to jshwaa's regulator mod? what do they both do.

Regulator is for running higher voltage batteries. FETs are for running motors that pull more current.

Hey, Neuro. I know this sounds lazy, but could you maybe share a glimpse of your h-bridge with the power FET's? I don't know why I didn't jump on that band-wagon a while ago. I had too much faith in the weak FET's that are in the 8-pin surface mount IC's. If you're the one who started that, you're a genius. I wanna see some pics/vids if you have them. Thanks alot.

BTW, I'm also designing an external h-bridge design. It's still in the drawing board phase, but is soon to become a reality. It should be able to handle any hobby grade 280 can motor out there. And on some li-ion cells it's going to be a monster for real.

ooooo ok thanks neuro.

It's all in this thread:

Toward the bottom of the first page you can see the earliest revisions. I also posted a pic of a later revision on mini-zracer.com under the MR-02 section.
