1 Attachment(s)
Ok people, Heres my contribution to tinyrc.com,
------------------------------------------------------------

MONSTER TRUCK MOD:
follow these simple steps to pure RC monster truck mayhem!

------------------------------------------------------------

Requires:
2 ZipZaps 12:1 Gearset/Axle
4 Lego Wheels
Bit Char-g type car

------------------------------------------------------------

1. Start by making a full size wheel mod with 2 ZipZaps axles.
2. Snap the Lego wheels onto the ZipZaps wheels.
3. The car will now stand almost 3 times higher than its orginal ground clearance height.
4. Charge your car up and cruise across the carpet.

Looks like a nice copy/paste job off of RCmod.com
You should ask for permission before you take credit for a mod like that.

I'm sure you didn't mean anything wrong though, but I just thought I'd say... Anyway, I did that mod once, and it was pretty cool. I only did it on the back axle though.

Whats plagarism mean? (does it mean like copying other people's stuff?)

MicroSpeed 03-19-2004 05:27 PM

Plagairism [play-jer-ism]-n 1: a piece of writing that has been copied from someone else and is presented as being your own work
(www.Dictionary.com)

Anyway, its okay, and I know you wern't purposely doing it.

Not be nasty but I knew what plagarism meant when I was 10.

Okay back to the reason I came in ------I would like to see how they did that on the front wheels.

I'm not trying to be harsh. All the tips and mods that get posted are done for free, and the only compensation one gets is someone else saying, "hey, thanks for the info, it really helped," which is usually all anyone wants in return. It's just good when the props go to the right person.

In the future, the way to do it would be to say, "Hey guys, I found this excellent tutorial at www.xxxx.com, and here's the car I did based on that info."

N2O 03-20-2004 05:07 AM

right,ok now i know ill do that but anyway thanks for telling me coz if you didnt, i would have carried on copying other people stuff.

thanks

Thats a nice mod but I prefer to just buy the tyco 1/64 monster jam trucks for under $15.00 and put different bodies on them.

They have the proper gearing, good steering and the best looking tires.

N2O 03-20-2004 05:35 PM

how do u get that thing below yur name say "i know nothing"....coz mine says tinyrc pro?

slugbugg 03-20-2004 10:03 PM

If I remember correctly there is a place to do that in the profile editor (user cp) but I'm not sure since it has been a long time since I messed with it.There may be a post limit you have to reach before you can do that but I really dont know.

what is a full size wheel mod? where do i get the "full size wheels"?

urbandork 03-21-2004 03:07 PM

you use a set of front wheels in the front this way the wheels are all the same larger size.

theres directions on how to do it on this forum and can be found in a search.

note althought there has been dispute over it the mod can decrease the truning radius of ur car.

I think you have to get 100 posts or something, or be registered for 2 weeks.
