sound tower modification for Mini-Z
 

A while back, I saw a link to a Japanese web site that showed modding the IR controller from a Formula 1 Digi-Q to work with a Mini-Z transmitter (so that the sound module responds to the throttle on Mini-Z tansmitter). Does anyone know the link?

I tried modding a tansmitter myself, and blew the pot in the throttle on the new Perfex K-5. (Mind you, I have the electronics and soldering skills of a blind monkey.)

This is a mod we would like to do, as the soound tower is about the only useful part from our many Formula 1 Digi-Qs.
