looks like a 130 or a 180 sized.
is it bout the same size as an XMod motor?
are the magnets stronger?

aperson 03-14-2004 11:36 AM

its about 1.5 the size of an XMOD motor. the windings are flat black. its used to engage the 4WD on a 4 wheeler. its one of my relatives. he needs one and i was gonna see if it would work in my XMOD. all i know is that the car is gonna need some modding.

Sounds like a 180.

TypeZer0 03-14-2004 03:34 PM

take a pic of it side-by-side with a 130 motor

neurokinetik 03-14-2004 07:28 PM

Looks more like a 260 to me. 180 motors look just like 130s, but longer.

SuPrBuGmAn 03-14-2004 08:56 PM

Definately not a 180, more than likely a 260 which is the same shape as the 130, only larger...

Or

It could be a Mabuchi equivelant 280, which those run on 12v, unless it is a FA designation.

the 130 is an xmod size motor right? and ill have to wait until this weekend to get another pic of the motor. this is more for him than for me.

boxcrash 03-17-2004 07:49 AM

...........

Yep Xmod RS motors are 130 size and the 180's are the longer SB or Team Elite Orion motors, etc.

260 Johnson or a non-round can 280 looks like a 130, only larger.
