does any one know were i can get metel rear balljoints the cheap plastic ones break easly

Yep, and I've got a full set of them in my AWD Civic. I finally got the thing back together this week, so I was able to track test them. They work well.

where you able to install the parts w/the differential shaft w/o any modifications?

i wasn't, i had to remove the shaft.

was it worth the $36 or so?
