Help with the light's
 

After removing the lights how can I give them a smoked look but let the light from the light kit show up.

A quick shot of black spray paint from a few feet away is the only thing I can think of. You're going to risk ruining your headlights, though.

I was looking at towerhobbies for black paint and i found this.

I guess you could get that stuff. Just make sure you mask the front of the lens, and just paint the back.

I forgot to ask what you would recommend to take the red stripe of the civic's tail lights.

The only thing I can think of is to use brake fluid...but I doubt that would work. Brake fluid works best to remove spray paint.

All the thing's I can think of that would work also would tern the plastic white or make it really soft.

I may give the brake fluid a try and see how it comes out.

dip the tailight in rubbing alcohol for 30 minutes. take a pocket knife and gently scrape off the red stripe. use clear nailpolish to get rid of the scratches and clouding

if you want a color smoke effect you can use a sharpi, i used blue and it looks nice

Thanks for the help guy's. Seeing that the electronics just fried in my xmod I'll have some time to work on the body's now.
