WRC Rally 206 X-MOD
1 Attachment(s)
Had this shell sitting around from an earlier decal project, 2002 WRC 206 Total livery.
Good fit with custom front clip and side clips. Mini Power Mini-Z 206 Peugeot shell on the proto X-Mod CF chassis, of course! Yes, I realize that all of you WRC fans will say that there was never a white 206 in the Total livery. Got the white shells to do development work and sold a handful of the decaled grey shells. Thanks to my buddy KW and to those e*b*a*y sellers that are doing the mini-z shell conversions, for pushing me to my own conversion. |
As an old mini-z racer, I always wanted a true to life 4WD version. The X-Mod chassis has opened the door!!

Too pink for my taste..but it fits well.
Looks clean, too. |
Nice, I love it.
I have a favor to ask though, I'd like to see the underside of the body or the mounting clips. I'm still brainstorming on which body mounting technique I should employ when I start getting the Mini-Z shells. |
I also want to see pics of how you mounted the body.
|
In reality it is a deep crimson color, not Pink!!
Messed up the color balance in photoshop:rolleyes: I'll post some pics with the NEW CF CHASSIS soon. |
Ooh.
Well that changes everything! Very original, I don't think I've ever seen this particular body transplanted before. |
Nice! Was there any issue w/ wheel offset or is that stock?
|
The front of the rear wheel wells could stand about .5mm of opening but with the rear suspension flex it does not rub.
