how do You lower Xmods
How do You lower X mods so they are closer to the ground??
Why would you want to?
If you make it any lower it will be undriveable. |
cut the springs
I don't know, I was just wondering because I heard somebody else talking about it and I was just wondering about it.
the only reasonable way i can think of is gettin the body kit upgrade. other wise to run the risk of damagin the chassis and when you crash, buh bye xmod!
If you just want to take pictures of your XMod lowered, then you can take out the front springs.
Don't drive the car like that though. :p |
I saw BC post this.
He said he used a skyline front tab and removed the rear clip then removed some of the material holding it. Thus raising it. put it all back together and poof its lowered. |

Too bad not all of us have 20 Skylines laying around. :p |
you dont have to use only tha skyline tab to lower a xmod. if you have multiple xmods, just switch tha tabs around till you find one you like.
i think what BC did was use the skyline tab upside down in a civic.....or was it the other way around?
he placed the skyline tab right side up and he took off the clip on the back of his civic and trimmed the body part down and put the black clip back on. sorry if its confusing. its hard to explain:(
on my skyline i flipped the front tab and trimmed it a bit and shaved under the rear clip thing. i got the idea from this forum. if you search im pretty sure you can find it. only thing i dont really like about it is i cant run wheel spacers in front otherwise, under hard cornering the tire rubs against the fender.
