Question About Painting These Things

Hey guys, I have yet to discover the posabilities of these little things, and I have one question to ask experienced painters. When you guys paint you X-Mods, do you remove the paint, or sand it or anything else like that before applying new paint? I'm just curious, cause I don't want to mess up my first paint job.

Some people say that the stock paint can be stripped off with something called Oops, found at WalMart or something of the sort. I think it's best to sand the clear coat off with some 400-600 sand paper.

Also, be sure to check out Bad Company's XMod Masking/Painting Tutorial.

I dont know about you but when i painted my car I was 11(now im 12 but who cares)

I just sprayed right over the color. The paint came out fine.

I think its funny how people waste time takeing off paint....and then puting it back on

I removed my factory paint to retain the details of the body. Too many layers of paint can fill in details and mike them less crisp and sharp.

I'd rather not deal with the chemical paint removing thing so I think I will stick to sanding and precise scratching at the panel lines to retain the sharp look.

Brake fluid works surprisingly well, and it's not too poisonous. :p
