XMODS in Need For Speed Underground
 

If I'm stating the obvious, feel free to delete this...

I just got need for speed underground for ps2...wow!

I noticed all the xmods advertising in the game- billboards and even decals for you car.

Just thought this was interesting and wanted to share...

I noticed that a while ago. I had no idea what the heck and XMod was.:p

ya the first xmods vinyll you get is actually the old logo. horizontal flames rather than verticle.

Also while your playing the game and get through it about half-way, you will be able to start to get some of the same cars as the X-Mods. I also think that they have put the same body mod's in the game that they have for the X-Mods. I've made it through the first 71 or 72 races out of the 111 races that they have. I wan't the Skyline!!! Anyhow, good luck with the game and have fun!!!

i beat the game and im loving it, fav car = eclipse with pearldecent silver, grey, gunmetal decals, and the double 5star momo wheels, my fastest time for 14th and vine was like 22 something i sprayed from 3rd gear on up

Technically, this was once a thread, but it a long, long time ago and is probably on page 80-something.

Anyway, yeah I noticed a bunch of Xmod billboards too- actually, before I got the game, because I was at my cousins house before I got it and we were playing it with some of his friends. Its an okay game, as far as driving, but the speed and cars are all out of proportion. ex. a fully upgraded golf will keep up with a fully upgraded skyline...:rolleyes:

the skyline would be slower of the start because it has all whell drive but faster from there on

Wrong. All wheel drive doesn't make a car any slower in any way.

Wow! how old r u 2nr b/c last time i checked all-wheel drive does slow u down. u lose more WHP due to the transfer case, and other extra drive train components.

Ok, fine, but I've never seen more than 5% HP loss over 2WD.

BTW, I'm 17.

Depending on what type of car you drive, you lose 25-40% of the engine's power before it reaches the wheels.

A four wheel drive car loses up to 50%!!!


In a drag race a 4wd car tends to get a better launch, but once the cars have got traction, the 2wd car (given that they both have the same engine power) will accelerate harder.

:eek: I've never seen any powertrain losses like that.

how about a car with a burnt out clutch:p

yeah awd loses more power because of all the components and also more weight the engine has to turn.
