3 cells + 2 motors?
Hi there fellow friends i was just wondering if i could do this mod and get away with it, what i am trying to say is would it hurt my motor or the pcb board because i have seen on the boards that there are dual cell mods and i got straight to work and done the mod ( thanks for that!) it goes fast but know i want faster could i put another cell on? My next question is can i put another motor onto my dual cell or maybe 3 cell truck? if this goes ok i will post some pictures.
P.S. i am a cheat i lied i did not do the dual cell it came like it! i was so amazed that it came with dual cell and shocked on how fast it was, but i think it was dual cell because it is a truck with a trailor its really fun if you want pictures please say thanks.:p |

you can get away with three cells. The parts on the PCB are rated @ 5 volts, and 3 cells is only 1.2+1.2+1.2=3.6. If u really want to go fast(and I mean FAST) you could do a quad cell. The two motors will work also, it won't provide more speed, but it will give lots of torque. The only thing you might worry about is how you mount it. Use epoxy, but be careful of the axle and the gears(it's happened, not fun!!). Super glue just doesn't cut it here.......Anyways, have fun!!!!!;)
