This might be a dumb question......
 

ok i was just wondering why the motors have capcitors on the end where the power goes into the motor. i know how capacitors work and all but do these capacitors hurt the power or help the power going to the motor? i haven't tried running a motor without the caps on them, has anyone tried this and whats the outcome?


edit: I would have put this is the science section but wouldn't let me start a thread there, strange?

can't start a thread in science, if u make a thread in another forum and if BC reads it or u ask him to review it and he deems it worthy, he will move it to the science section

If you could add stuff in the science section it would be full of useless questions like these
