check out the snow here in akron ahio. look at how big them snowflakes are. and this is all falling on about a 2 inch layer of ice from the rain last night! i guess i'll be restricted to driving the ole xmod on the carpet today

teamdeadbunny 01-27-2004 10:19 AM

We got a little snow here, just enough to make things look all white.

Too cold to xmod outside right now. I'd be afraid a) I'd freeze and b) my car would break from being so cold.

Yeah, I havent driven mine outside yet at all. The last thaw we had was in December.

neurokinetik 01-27-2004 06:07 PM

Bah, you people don't even know snow... :p

theMonster 01-27-2004 06:30 PM

8 inches

NO NOT THAT YOU DIRT BIRDS!!!!! ha ha ha ha ha.
I got 8 inches of snow at my house in Cincinnati and it's still snowing.

Oh and another thing...it's time for the English lesson of the day since you kids were probably out of school today. Remember to double the last constanant when adding on a modifier to a word. ie: xmoding is like saying (Ex-mode-ing) the proper way of spelling this would be x-modding which would be pronounced (Ex-mod-ding). I've seen this about a hundred times and it's bugged me, call me anal if you will.

**edit** Hey Neuro, I used to live in Cleveland. I see you live in Buffalo, so consider this: 1 inch elsewhere =1 foot in Cleveland/Buffalo in direct comparison to how much snow it takes to make people behave like blithering idiots and grind the city to a halt. Ahhhhhh the lake cities.....

I guess you've even got me beat. We haven't got that that much snow this year, I can't even remember getting a good sized lake effect band.

I think we had snow here once or twice in the last 5 years :) and by snow I mean a thin white layer over frozen gras... It takes your entire lawn, a some of whats in the neighbors lawn to make a respectable snow-man here(even then its discolored from dirt and grass).

... I'm on the Gulf Coast...

HotCar 01-27-2004 09:57 PM

i got like 6 or 7 inches on monday and now it is snowing again like 3 or 4 mor inches. ealier i thought about taking the xmod out on the sleet covered snow. it is fun, i did that with my old tyco.
