Infared Xmod
 

last night i was amusingly walking down the toys r us r/c isle and came upon a nikko i racer little i mean littler than bits but they were infred thats what caught my eye so now im wondering its it possible to intragrate the circuit form it in with the x mods pcb it would be pretty cool and the radio that come with them are also really go if any one has done an infared mod or even tried let me knoe thanx

that would definately take lots of work but it does sound like a good idea. BUT what would the range be? i have a digi-q and it goes about 25-30ft and that is waaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy too short for the xmod. i dont mean to blast your idea, but im just pointing out some obstacles

i dont think it would work, these would be the major problems 1. range
2. not proportional
3. work
4. money
5. quality
If you combined those it would be very very bad

yeah true the range would be crappy wel i donno just an idea haha i just made an x cart it pretty cool i got a tech kart and hooked everything up in it
