I know this isn't the forum for it, but I couldn't find a good place to put it either. This is the Tamiya TLT1 1/18 Monster truck. It's bigger than the mini-mad-force put would make a good RS4 crusher!! It looks like a mini Clod-Buster/TXT offspring...heh heh heh

any info about it? like if it's selling now or will be selling soon, price, hop-up options, RWD or 4WD, etc
|
All I know is that if you want one, you can get it in Japan right now. I can't read Japanese and the translator didn't work. I do know that it uses a 540 size motor and between 6-10 cells. That's about all I could gather.

You can find out more over at www.yourmicro.com .It is the sister site to tiny and minizracer.
http://www.yourmicro.com/forums/foru...?s=&forumid=28 I will move this on over to Other Tiny RC's so you can continue any discussion already started here. |
RTR about $200
Uses a 540 motor (same as 1/10) and is 4wd. Has 4 shocks. Uses regular size servo and can be setup to use 2 for 4w Steering. Uses a wacky triangular pack. So if you cant solder your own cells, then you will have to buy the pack Tamiya makes. The main complaint that many people are giving is that for all it offers, its ground clearance is too low. Now if you want a REAL monster truck with quality and a real kit versus a rtr toy.. http://www.ptiracing.net/img53.jpg http://www.ptiracing.net/page16.html |
its belt 4wd

I'll go with the TLT. I don't think ground clearance will be a problem. It is out now and Tamiya makes pretty good r/c cars. Their still working on the PTI truck with no price figured yet.

mine was 169.00 The truck is not ready to run at all. Its a kit. You also have to add a 540 motor, esc, radio, receiver, and batts. I cant wait to get mine done. I am thinking about a novak brushless system for mine. Will take me at least a week to build it. Then I will decide on the motor.

Yes, I apologize on that.. I thought I read it was a rtr. However is that Canadian you payed?
To add to the fray.. Anyone see these? http://www.joyhobby.co.kr/images/pro...a/atmmbs_b.jpg Quote:
