Sorry, but I have to rain on your parade paulo. You're right for the most part, but you'll probably never get enough current going through these motors to notice a decreasebecause of the wires being too thin. I've have dualcelled/fet modded cars. The lower end motors may be taking off faster, because they will usually have more torque, but the top end speed should always be faster. kvik, you may have some bum motors or they may not fit correctly in the car. If the gears make a lot of noise then the motor may need to be repositioned to get smoother motion. If it's mostly quiet, then it's probably a bad motor. Some motors don't fit correctly in bits, or vice-versa, some motors don't fit well in certain clones.
Also, if you wired it in parallel, then you may not be putting out enough power to push a stronger motor. For example; a 3.0 sucks in most single cells, but it becomes a monster in a dual-cell.
