I'm pretty sure that a 1/4 mile for bits is a little over 20 feet

CjsF150nNeon 01-15-2004 11:34 AM

20.625 feet actually. :D

I havent gotten my drag-bit running yet, but when I do, I'm sure its going to haul arse in the '1/4'

You have to remember that you can't just use size to scale these little things. They would go too frikkin fast and deadly if you were that size:D

lol, ya.......if these were life size, i beleave there would be a new land speed record everyday........some of the fastest bits in the world go super sonic at thier scale............scary........and then imaging the G-forces you would feel in the car......geeezzzzzz............thats crazy....

micro kid 01-17-2004 12:23 AM

well a nitro rc funny car does 2-3 sec in a scale quarter

eetoi 01-17-2004 01:17 AM

Well, that's still an rc car, and we can't exactly put a nitro in a bit to see the comparison (Although Cox does make a .010 nitro engine which could be modified....nah). Nitro's are like twice the speed of electrics so that would be reasonable.

Try again.. The rc land speed record is with an electric.

Yeah yeah, the 10-cell funny car, seen it. It beat the .21 dragster by a fraction of a second. Is that the one you're referring to? I guess crude oil is reaching its limits... (I know I'm politically incorrect, don't try to correct me)

lam 01-18-2004 12:58 PM

i heard that an electric was the fastest and that it went 111 mph and if im wrong which i probably am cause i heard it from some guy correct me

MicroSpeed 01-22-2004 07:21 PM

I see how that could be broken...[changes to daydream mode].........10x TRX 2.5.........CF Chassis............15hp.............10lbs......... ...271mph...........

zboy07 01-29-2004 10:37 AM
