Does your car do this too?
My friend ordered 2 bit char-Gs. 1 super and 1 regular. Cause it only came with a 1.6 and a 1.0 motor we decided to switch them and put a TOMY 2.2 PRO, and both the cars went crazy... the TOMY 2.2 pro reacted like a 5 motor! So we removed it and placed it with a CLONE MOTOR which was also 2.2, and it also acted like a 5 motor! When I put the 1.6 or 1.0 TOMY motor on it, it actually does go at a 1.6 or 1.0 speed. Im curious, because they are only 1 speed, do I need to buy ONLY TOMY 1 speed motors?

Tomy doesn't make a two speed motor. The motor numbers are refering to the motor's revolutions per minute... RPM. The only two speed motor that has ever been advertised as a being made for two speeds is the Perfection 4.2 Pro, but there is questions as to what perfection did to actually make it two speed...
Anyhow, there is not much consistency with these motors. Some motors take a while before they get up to speed. Other times, a motor's output will decrease quickly after use. I have heard of using motor grease and a constant higher voltage to punish a motor into working again, havn't gotten around to testing this out for myself yet. |
so in summary..
so in summary.. is it my friends cars problem? or the motors? and how would I solve this
|
Well, after reading through everything again, nothing might be wrong. If I would have to guess, I would say the motors are at fault and not the cars. There isn't much that could cause the car's electronics to slow down, more likely just stop working.
