cool are the mirrors real?

no, just silver paint

So I guess this begs the question...

How many of you have broken one or both of your mirrors off during useage of the car and how many have done same during transport?

Mine broke after hitting stuff on the floor when I was running it at the folks (large hardwood floor area)

I'll be ordering the RSX mirrors. I broke mine during a rollover. I was playing with the 11 Tooth Stage 2 Motor and made a sharp turn (4.5 toe in) and rolled the car. It was cool because I kept landing back on my tires. :) But it ended up not being soo cool when one mirror broke. I have both pices, and I glued it back together, however it just is not the same.

LOL nice fortune cookie, however I got a better one, "You will recieve a fortune (Cookie)" I showed the waiter and he gave me a who box of fortune cookies and said "You desirve this for getting such a lame fortune" I still have it in my wallet. EVERY time someone complains about how lame their fortune is, I show them that and they all go "Never mind"

I broke one of my mirriors off and i just took some plastic cement and glued it back one, but if you guys want to spend $2.50 on a pair of mirrors be my guest. thanks for the info though cj you are very helpful with the faq!

Thats all fine and dandy to glue them back togather but what happens when you cant find one of the peices? The first day i ran mine at the mall, after closing....(great place if you get the chance.) late at night. I have a retail store there if you are wondering why i'm in the mall after closing....When i was racing it, I bumped a few walls, went thru a chain gate at one of the stores, ran under a few shelves, hit some chair and table legs in the food court, LOL it was fun. Then low and behold, I was going to change the batteries when i noticed I was missing a mirror. I have no idea where it went. I scoured the mall for that damn thing and it was nowhere to be found. So I am VERY VERY happy to know I can get them. Even for 2.50 a set. I dont care. but then I can afford them. Some might not be able to.

i can afford them, but i am saying that if you find the peice it is not worth it to buy more mirriors. if you lose the mirriors then i get your point.
