Anyone seen these?
 

I picked up a Micro RC car at my local State Fair this weekend for 16 bucks. Came in a Dome package with a round controller. had to do some slight controller case mods( ie..clip out part of it) to get the antenna into the controller but other than that the car looks great. The packaging said Super Racing on the outside. 49 Mhz...

Anyway I have been reading these boards and see that this is obviously a clone of the real deal but for me it served as an adequate introduction to the hobby :) I think now I am hooked heh.

Clones are cool and ok in my book as long as you know that's what your buying. The quality isn't as good as the originals, but I would've never known unless I had bought one of each... That's just me. I have to see for myself....

omg shadoe42 i just have the exactly 1 u said :D . its called super racing on minez and it was 49mhz. but the body was a accord wagon wit fires on it. i got minez at the sidewalk sale 4 10$:D . dose yours come wit a pink motor that runs fast as hell? cuz i have 1 but it dont fit on my real bit :( . anywayz im havin troble wit the steering the first day :( it cant turn good and turns automayicly sometimez. i tryied opein up and fix the magnet, but now it barely turns wen i steer.:( any advice?

It would look better without stickers.

I agree the stickers look ugly :) But I just bought the thing. Probably gonna dremel the wheel wells a bit to give it more clearance. I noticed that after I took it apart it started to bind up a bit after I put it back together. Car body will probably also get a paint job

Interesting to note that presuming the color coding on the motor is correct my little clone came with a 2.6 engine. heh
