ebay seller using your cars pics without permission! (DarkTari, Strider_MT2K)

I believe several images were stolen from RCmod.com and no credit was given to them. The mod site listed was RCtech.com (I believe).

The seller was wrong for jacking the pictures ,.
Darktari should contact him and blast him .
He used DTs car in the main picture . That does constitute fraud .

He used one of Biohazard's cars on another item. The guy has about 10 Mini RC Cars up at this time. RCmod has contacted eBay and has their lawyers looking into it because this guy is making money using images from their site. Plus the RCtech.com site he mentions in the item description for Mods on the cars is a site mainly for 10th scale RC. I went there and scanned quickly and I didn't notice any mention of Bits, Microsizer or Zip Zaps. I didn't do a search under the articles I was just seeing the site at a glance.

so we are getting this guy busted? i think thats the right thing to do because i doubt they were use with permission.......

That's pretty jacked up! People are always looking for ways to rip people off.

I looked at that before. I didn't look close, but the first thought I got was, why is darktari selling that sweet car for only a few bucks? And how is he going to keep up with demand if a lot of people start asking for one?

As stated before, most of the images were taken from RCmod. I sent an email to their admin after reading about it on bitpimps, and he was unaware of any modder giving this person permisson to use the photos. Like bilbo said, RCmod's lawyers are trying to get E-bay to take care of the situation.
This guy was out to make money, and didn't care whether or not he had consent to use the pics.
You can write all the nice things you want about the authors of the images, but you still have to ask, to use them.


He'll be dealt with....
