i think the car will run faster because engine will be colder, that means more speed;)

it may help the motor slightly, but cold weather wears down battteries REALLY badly, youd probably get like half the run time with half the power

:confused: you sure about that? i've always heard and been under the impression that batteries will run shorter under heat....thus the mini-z battery heat-sinks

they need to run at an optimum temperature range. neither too hot nor too cold

FWIW

I used to race 1/10 scale off road. When the temp gets down in the 40s alot of the plastic parts got very brittle.

i am going to have to remeber that because i am hoping for a HPI nitro rtr rs4 mt2. it is a gas 1/10 off road form HPI(best RC company out there :p )

maybe this is just me but when i was driving my xmod in the cold garage the steering wasn't working right. it would turn sometimes but othertimes it wouldn't. after awhile when i brought it back inside the house it worked fine. did this happen to anyone else?
