Paint Tips
 

I need some ideas paint job for my Supra. Can any one give my some tips plz. Like mybe i should put some stipes on it or any thing like that or like what color i should make it. Also do i sand it down or something like that? Its up to u to help me with my Supra. I will keep this updated everday when i get some good ideas i will use them. when i am done i will show the picture of my car.:cool:

To paint your cars here is my method to painting it.

1. Clean off the body with some soap and water. Then let it dry.
2. Mask off the parts you dont want to paint.
3. Spray some primer on it
4. Spray a few light coats of paint.
5. Let it dry

As to making racing stripes, I have heard people using electrical tape. As for what color you should paint it, its just personal preference.

There have been a lot of good painting tip on here, but I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned that when painting multiple colors you should paint light colors first then dark colors.

here's a tip...take it to your local paint store.......and when no one is lookin pop open one of them gallon paint cans and dip the body in.....if you forgot to take the chassis and stuff off first don't worry...it'll rinse off (hehe)......then just casually walk out and hope you don't get any runs in the paint...

that sounds like a great idea, but here the paint shop is so small that they would have to be away or something:rolleyes: .
I would try it just because it sounds like fun:D
