XMOD and MINI-Z Scale

A major (and very general) question:

Our XMODS are 1/24 scale are they not?
Also, the Mini-z's are 1/24 too right??

The main reason I have to ask this stupid question is because I find alot of sites that show 1/28 scale mini-z's and I'm planning on doing a body swap from the miniz to the xmod..
-thanks

actually xmods are 1/28 and mini-z is 1/24

Technically the scale for these varies from 1:24 to 1:28, depending on the size of the real car. Most are about 1:28.
One Autoscale (mini-z) body I bought came with a sticker quoting average scale as 1:27.654, or something daft like that.

Bottom line is that the mini-z bodies can be used on Xmods, with a little modification, as both are about 1:28

lol..

I like the XMODs more than the mini-z's but the body selection is waay limited.

I need an IS300 body for the XMOD- but they don't have one.. which is why I'm looking for autoscales of the Altezza Mini-z to swap onto the XMOD.

*to put it simply=---> XMODS don't have a big car seleciton.

yeah, I agree. I chose the Supra by default because they were out of Skylines and the Civic and RSX are just too damn generic, I see a couple dozen of those on the street every day. I saw a post from somebody on here where they used a Mini-Z Corvette CR5 body and put it on an Xmod but, IMO it was WAAAAAAY more trouble than what it's worth. If you know an easier way, please share. Also, the Mini-Z bodies are EXPENSIVE, like $30 each! I would love a Ferrari, but not at that price. Now there is a Mini-Z ripoff/clone made by LXX that is supposedly/arguably just as good as the Mini-Z and only costs $25, but the shipping from ToyEast is $20. If anybody knows where to grab one Stateside or in Canada, please post. There are a bunch of CRAP clones sold on Ebay, the Hei Pao Thunder something or other.....stay away from those.
