christmas xmod craze
Hello,
Does anyone know or think that they know if the xmods will be popular this christmas? If they are I want to paint some cars and hopefully sell them for $200 a piece the week before x-mas...Also will radioshack run out of xmods because if they will we should all go out and buy 4 right now to resell. |
Do you scalp sports tickets too? :p
not really a big sports fan, I like xmods though...and im in need of money
That better be one heckava good paint job.
That better be a masterpiece if u want to resell them for $200!
i would assume fully upgraded other wise no one would buy that
dude no one is gonna buy those. unless you got different bodies
most people dont buy from places that cannot provide a reciept... meaning if it comes from radshack... they would rather wait till january and get one for 50 and be able to return it when it breaks
I guess you dont have kids. Parents whose kids see these and tell them they want one will go out the week before christmas to buy one. When they go to every radioshak in town and every store is out of one, they will turn to EBAY. I guarantee that if Radioshak isnt prepared for this christmas, Stock NIB (New in box) $50.00 xmods will be going for $200.00 on the internet. I paid $400 for my PS2 on EBAY when they first came out and no one could get any. And that was for me!
^^^^Seriously? 400 bones for PS2? That's funny:D I think you have a good idea but I wouldn't "custom" paint them though. Just leave em NIB and sell em on Ebay you should be able to at least get your money back. Besides if they're NIB people could just take them to any R.S if it breaks and say they got it as a gift and didn't get a reciept. Good Luck, PEACE
Naw I dont think anyone is crazy enough to buy a $50 car for $200. I mean would you pay that much?
I sure as hell wouldnt pay $200 for a $50 car! Thats just crazy!
I wouldn't count on it.
Last year Zip Zaps were the hot item. I saw a lot of people trying to get 100+ bucks out of them the week before Christmas, but no one was buying. Most people were getting them for about 20-25 bucks. I have a feeling a lot of greedy ebay sellers got stuck with Zip Zaps last year. The fast and furious tune up set was popular, and I saw some of those selling for as much as 50. That for one thing, for another, Radio Shack has been marketing XMods to death, I have a feeling they are more than ready to meet the demand. |
They have been marketing them to death. Odds are they learned from the zip zap disaster of last year.
Every RS I go in has tons of the cars and upgrades, I don't hink they will be as scarce as the Zips.
