My 2 cell zip is finally done and working. Before, I didn't have a 2.4V charger, but I had one from an RC car that I got from Wal-Mart. I took it apart and the thing charges perfect! With the green(stock) motor in, it goes faster than it would on one cell w/ NX(purple). It is wicked awesome. I'll get some pics later.

The charger wasn't a plug-in or anything, incase you're wondering. It came with a 1/64 scale car in a little NOS bottle. I got it from Wal-Mart and I don't know the brand. I'm not sure if they're still being sold or not though...

ah, the fast and the furious clones.......i got one...it never worked.....(if you still have the chassie for the car dont throw it away! the front stearing asymbly (the knucles and controll arm) is really good for building a TTTT truck.....i had mine but it got lost!

I can't wait for my batteries to come in. :)

I think I'll be able to adapt a 3v wall wart to recharge mine.
