How do you remove the body?
Today when I put my microsizer together I was afraid the whole time to put pressure on most of the parts to get them to snap in place. I want to get a new body for my car. When I tried to take the body off from the front of car i coudln't get a handheld on it. I grab it and pull it forward to get over that snap that holds it in place but just can't get it over the snap/bracket/whatever you call it. I was wondering if anyone can tell me a way to take my body off without damaging my car. I'm petrafided of destroying it.

taking off the body is pretty easy...
just take the car's nose on the sides in your thumb and pointer finger, then slip your other thumb on the underside of your car near the front clip, while using two fingers on the back of the car. now squeeze the sides of the nose of the car lightly and then apply some pressure with your other hand's thumb by pushing back and down.. it should just slide out... just don't use extreme force.. but also don't be afraid to use a little bit of strength.. the cars are pretty strong.. so don't be afraid to break it. |

Hey payaso you seem to know the deal ... I have a microsizer that when it goes straight over a 5 foot distance drifts to the right severely....all the wheels on the car facing dead ahead when it drifts too....I have adjusted the trim on the bottom to far left and the car still moves to the right when going striaght

What motor are you using? cause with a faster motor and dirty rear tires, it acts like a car with possi traction and it want to drift. Clean your tires good with a wet paper towel and then try it.. Hope that helps

All I have is the 2.2 motor that came with the car. I look at my tires and they look black no dust on them. This is depressing I wonder if anyone else has seen problems like this.
Could it be my flooring I'm using my car in my kitchen that has tectured vinyl flooring. Also what serfaces are you guys using with your cars. |
The only other thing that I can think of is that your steering spring is not centered correctly. Or did you check that already?
Are both front wheels spinning freely? silla |
Both wheels spin freely....now what are you talking about steering spring?.....how do you check or know what to do with that.
|
Take off the clear PCB cover and remove the screw. You then have to remove the top of the steering assembly. (carefully) There is a small spring that centers the wheels after you let go of the steering.... this can be tricky, so be careful.

Hmmm payaso isn't that spring thing there to straigten the stearing out after you've turned. My car if i place in on the ground with tires dead ahead on front drifts.... my problem seems to revolve around a rightward movement of the car for no apparent reason ... when it curves my tires are not in turning position....

Is it possible that the pins that hold the wheels are bent?
Also, does the car do it when the charge is low? silla |
It does it the whole time....I just got this car today from tinyrc.com....blah

Last 2 things I can think of are. Check the back wheels for hair and dirt, and check the steering magnet to see if it's centered. Other than that, I can't think of anything else.... On a long shot you can try to run the car on a grippier surface. I have a car that does the same thing when I run it on tile floors, but when I run it on smooth concrete (tennis courts) it's straight as an arrow...
In race terms, your car's not hookin up... need more grip. silla |
