I fit them so I wouldn't have to modify any of the original car or wheels to get them to fit...so I can change wheels without having to modify them all to clear the brakes...

I just drilled out the hole in the centers of the brakes to fit over the steering hubs and rear A-arm hubs and epoxied them to them...then painted them right on the car. easy....these are the biggest brakes you can fit in the stock wheels without cutting the insides of the wheels to clear the brakes.

Oh wow, those look awesome man, I tried to install some disc brakes from a Honda S-2000 model kit the other day, but just when I trimmed down the very last one, it broke =/ just my luck..it looked pretty sweet too, a bit oversized, but sweet. So I'm just glad at least somebodys disc brakes worked out for em and looked incredible, lol.

Wow, that's a very expensive set of disc brakes you got there. As all things Tamiya, their models are not cheap at all.

I have many unbuilt tamiya kits...(I used to work at a hobby shop and got a bunch at a great discount) I scavenge through them all the time for cool parts...I also build model cars...
