bearings/bushings
i tried the bearings not much diff. /put the bushings back in and silicone sprayed all of um and all rotating parts wow better and faster DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON BEARINGS .. until those bushings go bad
|
is this true because i saw someone say that bearings give you faster ride
|
did you greese them puppies up before you put em in?
|
when i first put in the bearings its slower but as they brake in the speed increases
|
Does everyone agree with this?
|
is it seriouslly slower:mad:

well think about it...
when you buy a new car they tell you to go easy with it for like the first couple thousand miles...thats because the parts have to "naturally" wear to each other...same with an electric motor, you need to run it at a lower voltage to break it in...it won't run the full RPM until it does either.same goes for bearings, and you should use powdered graphite lube for these bearings because they are not the sealed type. grease just attracts dirt and then you basically get a grinding compound INSIDE your bearings! not good! they will wear rapidly after that...powdered graphite doesn't attract dirt. also you are replacing plastic with metal in your car...it WILL add a bit of weight to it. BUT it is a big performance/runtime gain if you keep them maintained and lubed.and your car will track straighter and be more stable with them.

ok cool thanx do you know where i can get the pwder graphite?
walmart? and how much is it? |
np...
I'm not sure if walmart has it but most hardware stores will have it...it comes in a little tube with a long metal needle to get it into tight spots...spin the bearing and drop some onto it and let it work into the bearing...thats all

ok cool thanx
