is the ZZ purple motor any better than a good clone 2.6?

i want a good motor for my ZZ's, but i don't want to spend the money on ZZ motors if they're not any faster than my clone 2.6's. i have a couple of 2.6's that kick pretty good, but i'd like a little more speed. i really like the new ZZ's, but i don't know anything about their motors. i know the red one can't touch my 2.6's, so before i waste my money i'd like to know if it's worth it.

Yeah, the purple motors are worth it. You get lots of stuff in the upgrade kit with the motor (gears, wheels, tires, bodies). They should kick but on a 2.6. They are one of my favorite motors for zip zaps, that and perfection 4.2's (about the only thing that will beat them).

cool! thnx alot. i really didn't want to spend the money and be disappointed.:D

You won't be disappointed. The 3.4 is one of the best motors you can get easily. I wish RS would sale them by themselves instead of having to buy the whole kit.

i wish they would too.:( i don't need all that other stuff.

hehehe.........the 3.4 is my personal favorite.............since because of its balanced torque/speed
