Spring Suspension

How do I put springs in my zip zap?

It's very easy, just remove the suspension bar and mount springs like shown in this thread http://www.tinyrc.com/forums/showthr...threadid=13773. In other words, take off the steering cover and put springs on the knuckles. Make sure the springs are soft and small enough. Hope I helped!!;)

I found springs that were about perfect in HO scale slot car tuneup kits.

All my best cars have springs, stabili suck.
All it takes is some trimming if they interfere with the steering, but go for the slot car springs, or one sold specifically for this purpose.

I tried DIY ball point pen springs, and they are nearly all magnetic, throwing off the steering greatly.

Some of the new Jeeps have spring suspension in them already.
