SE Drift

i have noticed with my savana that the se's drift exeptionaly well with slicks on...........anyone else find this? ill have to post a clip of mine doing that..........

:D :D :D

Yeah, mine drifts, but it's a little hard to control. I guess I'll just have to practice a little more.

jbach39 10-15-2003 01:46 AM

how are you getting them to drift> (I assume by drifting you mean sliding sideways ina turn?)
mine never do using a 3.4 ZZ motor, in my Mustang Concept se

ill try to get the clip up today or tomorow..........ill also show you a clip of my microsizer vs. my rallyX zz civic.....

Murcielago659 10-15-2003 07:02 PM

I put stock tires on the rear and slicks in the front and it seems to just slide forever, that is until it spins around. It just doesn't seem to react quickly enough for me. More practice is in order I guess.

Comrade_Boris 10-16-2003 06:38 PM

i have found that with slicks all around a quick right turn folowed with a fraction of a second of reverse + a fraction of a second of left wheel produces a nice drift..........and i thought my old zz could drift, my se kills it if a drift off!

Murcielago659 10-16-2003 11:57 PM

Wow, that's a lot to do so fast :D I think I need to get some griptape to put on my wheel because when I try to do quick stuff like that my fingers slip.

AAAAh it doesnt work for me.
can u drift in real life? (asking shift_drift), is it hard?

SHIFT_DRIFT 01-18-2004 11:47 PM

1sr whadaya drive?
in my car it's not really helpful for it to drift. (stupid FF!)

97PrizmLsi 01-19-2004 12:09 AM

I can drift in my prizm....well its more like a controlled e-brake turn and I can't do it in series or anything because its front wheel drive. i only do it in a controlled area like a parking lot. I only wish I could hit it like the JUN Supra..

nitrousmaniac 01-19-2004 02:41 PM

i dont have a car yet but lets say with your average compact?
