it looks good from what i can see. the reason the photo looks nasty is because its too close to the car and its out of focus. if you fix them up you would be able to see what the car really looks like, but even out of focus it looks good. it sounds like it will look quite good when your finished.

anywayz how can you make brushpainted cars loo smoother????????????

Comrade_Boris 10-20-2003 08:32 PM

looking good! use clear finish on it and that helps alot.

frizzen 10-21-2003 12:48 PM

To smooth the paint a bit, try using some automotive "Rubbing Compound".

Although it's MUCH easier to lay down a smooth coat than fix a bad one. Even if you don't have an air-brush, with practice you can get decent results with Rattle-cans.

aight thanz for the advice

i think i will go with corade's idea becausei already have the car painted

i'll use a rattle can on ma supra that im planning to paint next

thanx frizzen

another street skyline around the block

whats under the hood
custom soft springs
Soft tires
3.8or3.0 clone engine light reg/pink(faster than my reg red 3.0)
8:25:1 gears
a rechargeable button battery for the LEDs
(out of a cellphone)
can be connected the to the main cell
to be rechargednot sure if it can be used to make dual cell
(reason its a 3v cell)

I have tried brush painting and it never comes out as good as using a spray. But with spraying you have to be careful not to lay it on too thick. It won't dry properly.
