can some1 give me a chart to show where the negetive positive and steering wires all go?

god **** **** **** ************ barber strisand forget it my steering wire just broke in 2 and my soldering skilles really really really suck so now out of my 12 mini cars 1 is functional :(

for a quick fix if the wire didnt pull out of the pcp just sand the wire and twist them together and it will work fine jsut be carfull with it

not with steering wires.....:(

thats what i did on one of my ms clones i'm asuming that it will work on a zip too

steering wires dont stay when you do

those steering wires are coated with a non conductive enamel...that's why he said you need to sand the wire ends. this may work if you strip enough of that coating to make a good electrical connection.

the easiest way to strip the wire ends is with a soldering iron.

let your iron heat up....if it is adjustabe temp, turn it up to at least 700 degrees or so...

tin the tip heavily with solder so the melted solder forms a small drop on the tip (not so much that it drips all over the floor or table tho)

insert the tip you want stripped into the molten solder and move it a round a little...pushing that tip in and out of the solder a couple of times.

when the tip of the wire is tinned (shiny silver from the solder coating with no bare spots) then you are ready to use it.

with that said. i would suggest to try to solder the wire back into the pcb where it belongs if possible. if not this splice method may work, but a fer drops or falls and it will probably work loose again.
