I don't know whether to call it proper drifting, but I can slide the rear end around when turning a lot easier than before. Instead of flipping the car, the added wieght allows it to stay on the ground.

With propo steering it should be possible to drift them.

with larger rc's that didn't have digi-propo i was able to drift. my way of drifting was right when i wanted it to drift, simultaneously tap into full reverse and a full left/right turn. it would then slide the rear end and sometimes the entire car a few inches. i'll try it once these hit ratshack stores.

The propo steering should allow you to control the slide (drift) better. I also think the rear wheel drive on these might affect "drifting" some seeing as to really drift the rear you need the fronts pulling you.

I'm not to big on the whole drifting style so I could be wrong here.;)

rear wheel drive is better for drifting compared with fwd.
It allows you to kick the back end out with some throttle.

with 4wd/awd drifting, i find it easier to recover and just faster. with 2wd (like 1:10 trucks on wet parking lots) it feels a lot sloppier and less consistant. With these new SEs it would be easier but i still think you won't be able to get it every time because of the size and how much the little things affect a 2wd drift. and besides, there is no differential.
