Are they injection mold plastic or are they a lighter material like Lexan?

Injection molded and sturdy with separate windows/lenses.

If the bodies are injection molded, is it safe to use Tamiya model paint? If so, where can I get some?:confused:

Yes, you can use Tamiya paints.I do all the time,I like to use a primer under the paint to make the colors brighter.In fact Tamiya makes the best model primer on the market.I recommend to spray outside for that stuff can be strong.Just a few coats are needed.

BTW,just go to t o w e r h o b b i e s and look around.If you don't have a LHS in your area.I know the MODS may not like the name drop I would suggest this shop if I knew that it carried paint,they might if you email them.
