Question on rc car
 

I have an R/C car that doesn't go forward or steer. My brother tried driving it up a slide, and said it quit working halfway up. The motors still work, But I'm wondering if some parts burned out. I'm guessing the components that connect to the motor. They look like transistors, but are twice as tall. What are these? I'm thinking they are power transistors or something. If they are the problem, they could have blown out when the motors stalled. Anyone know for sure?

what kinda car are we talkin here? if its bigger tahn a mini-Z, it will be harder to fix, so id suggest you take it to a hobbyshop.
