That's an idea...Wait a min, there are springs in a floppy disk? I never knew THAT.....

Char-g Ace 08-11-2003 09:10 PM

when u pull that slider back and goes back, a sprong does that

charliebrown 08-11-2003 09:12 PM

Ok thanks! I thought there was something peculiar about that, but thanks for clearing that up. Also, are those springs non-magnetic?

ZipRC 08-11-2003 11:20 PM

i busted open a floppy, how did u use these springs? u wind it urself? Cuz it's wound super tightly only 3 times and theres some extra metal.

ZipRC 08-12-2003 10:48 PM

ace?

racemini89 08-13-2003 04:13 PM

char-g ace the springs are magnetic howd you get them to work

aperson 08-15-2003 06:56 PM

im temporarily using springs out of some lego piece. they're magnetic but they dont interfere with the steering too much. they accually help me before the car would flip over every time i would turn.
