how do u guys get the rimz of of the axle???

well it's kinda a pain on some cars but the easyest way is with plyers and waht u do is pull and twist at the same time so the axle and the wheel are moving in diff directions till the thing comes off usually helps if u have two pairs one for the wheel one for the axle. also if this doesn't get it off use heat and heat the axle while pulling with the plyers.

you mean like taking a lighter and holding it on the axle? no way, man. bad idea. if you get the flame too close to the wheel it will melt it and the gear and then you have to scrape it off with a chisel. and then you cant use the axle. and if you heat it and the pliers dont have a grip it will burn your hand because metal conducts heat.

nope not with flame alto it would work if u don't want the wheels after you're done. i was thinking more like a soldering iron and if you hold the plyers more than an inch away from the end you won't get burned from a 40W soldering iron (trust me man) i do it with my big soldering gun all the time

isnt that still pretty dangerous

that's why i gave it to him as a when all else fails kinda suggestion i have no doubt in my mind that he should be able to pull them off with the plyers jsut if he can't that's probably the only feasable way. the axle it self will be hotter than hell but if u excersise caution it should be aight

yeah i c what u mean about the pliers, but even when you heat it wouldnt it bend the axle and since metal conducts heat wouldnt it melt the gear. because youre using a heated tip it would still spread the heat to the whole axle.

umm.. the torch meathod works great... just hold the flame under the middle of the axel for second( so only the glue would melt and not the wheels) and pull the wheel outward, only one wheel would come of... next hold the end of the axle with pliers reheat the axel and pull off the other wheel.... ..no the wheel wont melt if you do it right , thoug... ..and if they do ,it's all good. the more mistakes you make the better you get at modding
