Review: perfection 4.2 Pro vs 4.2 king and 200mah batts
We were racing them on a low carpet. They easily go as fast unboosted as a boosted 2.2
They are sooo fast. Moose and I ordered from toy east, we got 2 of each motor, and 2 perfection 200mah batteries, plus shipping for 20 bucks. I think thats an awesome deal. I was a little afraid putting in the battery, took me a while because i didnt want to break an wires. And the king 4.2 is basically just as fast as the 4.2 pro in a booster car. I dont know about a non boosted car, i think they would both be too much for single speed. |
so its basically a 2.2 when its not boosted? How is the torque? Im gonna order one soon!
|
torque is pretty good, it can spin the tires on a lot of surfaces.
the only thing i dont like is the transfer from forward to reverse is a little slow. My dad couldnt believe that i got 2 motors so small and a battery for 10 bucks including shipping. He was saying this is why the US economy is hurting, people in asia can make and sell things cheaper :( |
The transition from forward to reverse will get better as you break it in. I can pop wheelies with mine :)
|
nice man! my motors shuld be here in 2-3 days.

i got my 4.2 and 4.2 pro today. the pro hauls a lot more ass with turbo. but the thing is my motor is being stubborn and i transitioned from forward to backwards for an hour and it still doesnt transition easily. and a lot of people say you can pop wheelies on the stock single cell but to no avail yet.
|
I didn't really do anything special to get it to break in. After about a week of playing with it for about an hour each day it finally got good enough to pop wheelies with. I've had mine for about 3 weeks now and I can pretty much pop a wheelie whenever I want.
|
k man cool thanx
|
still no wheelies, i guess i will try and run it somemore. I'm also running the perfection 200mah battery, i dont see how that would have any difference in anything besides runtime over the stock battery.
