howe much did the total come out too with shipping? i wanna get one!

i heard theyre amazing from some people and a couple of people said they suck so i guess u gotta wait and see for urself!

dr1zz 07-11-2003 02:58 PM

well you get 2 motors, one for a booster car and one for single speed

imo, i think they are the best motors for the money....
they are very reliable, i have a perfection 3.8 that is still going strong after over 7 months of abuse

the 4.2 is bit faster than the 3.8
the 4.2 pro is excellent in a 2 speed car unboosted, and boosted its maybe a little too fast

My XX4 can whoop all of them except for the 1:8th buggy.

You'll really like your 4.2. Did you get the 200mAH battery you were talking about before? I really wish I hadn't gotten mine. It doesn't seem to be putting out the voltage it should be. Before with the stock cell and the 4.2 it would pop wheelies for a few seconds right after I charged it. Now it just kinda bogs down then takes off. I do like the 45 minute runtime I get from it tho.

the normal 4.2 sux........the pro 4.2 is better unboosted then boosted...i sold mine in less then a day thank god i got a buy er to give waht i paid with shipping./ i have a small track so you may have more of a use then i did.

NOS man 07-11-2003 11:43 PM

duz anyone hav a video of the 4.2 motor in action? if u do can u post it on this thread? i wanna check it out before it arrives.

hyper moose 07-12-2003 06:54 AM

haha a xx4 doesn't have a chance against a sportmaxx or a savage.... unless it's bl. ill put my 1/8th bug back together and see how that does.

mike p 07-12-2003 07:52 AM
