motors and batteries, stores that sell them?
I havent used my bit char-g in a few months, or been on these forums in a long time. I used to ahve some sites bookmarked that sold motors and batteries and stuff.
I know about the r-spec, and the formula 34, and my friend told me about the r-spec II. How are they all different? And i remember there was another site that sold motors and batteries. THey sold 3.5s, and 3.8s, and some other motors. anyone have a clue what im talking about??? edit* and why is this battery http://tinyrc.com/shop/product.php?pid=484 so much cheaper than this one http://tinyrc.com/shop/product.php?pid=438 ? |
I have been having the same problem. I haven't used my Bit in a few months and the sites I had bookmarked I can no longer view.
Any help will be appreciated. |
http://www.bitmod1.com/html/micro_hop_up_motors.html
that is one motor site i rememeber. I searched google and found it |
Go to www.toyeast.com , they have basically everything related to Bits. www.extrememicros.com I hear have great motors.
|
yea, i ordered my auto modellista from toyeast back around x-mas. 2 of my friends also got them at the same time to save on shipping.
They have good prices but the shipping is too much for me |
Allways support the forum your posting on ;)
I'll give ya some links anyway so as to not create a monopoly here :D http://www.extrememicros.com/ <<<<New site, cheap good and reliable http://www.toyeast.com/catlist2.asp?catid=872 <<<Everything you could want. Shipping can be stiff but if you gather a larger order at one time you will save in the long run. Some others>>>> http://www.rcmod.com/ http://www.questformadness.com/ <<<soon to be absorbed by tinyrc. I reiterate order from tiny and keep these boards up. ;) *EDIT- Took me a few to write this and I got caught up looking at some of the links I put up, yeah so anyway I got beat to the punch on the extreme micros and toyeast.:( I'm still gonna re-reiterate that you should buy from TINY RC !!!:D |
I remember questformadness now that you mentioned it.
rcmod is new to me. How are the r-spec, r-spec II, and formula 34 compared with each other? How do they compare with the bitmod1 3.5 or 3.8? I remember a lot of good things about the r-spec, but I also heard it didnt work with the booster chassis. Can someone confirm this one way or another? |
The RSpec II replaced the original RSpec because of reliability problems with it. Right now my favorite motor is the King 4.2 Pro made by Perfection and available at toy east. It comes in a set of 2 motors and it costs $4 + shipping. My otherwise stock MS Pro does wheelies now, and traction rolling is normal right after I charge it. I'm gonna get a couple of 200 mAh NiMh's from them along with some other goodies in a few weeks. Overall I'm impressed with toy east.
|
so you get 2 motors for 4 dollars plus shipping?
i will check out their site later |
10 bucks w/ shipping. not bad!
|
Yeah it's great. Just make sure you use the Pro in a 2-speed and the other one in regular bits.
|
maybe i will split it with a friend and he can get the other one
|
why is this battery http://tinyrc.com/shop/product.php?pid=484 so much cheaper than this one http://tinyrc.com/shop/product.php?pid=438 when the first one has a higher capacity???
I'm thinking about getting this battery http://www.toyeast.com/proddetail2.asp?pdtid=AC2014# and this motor http://www.toyeast.com/proddetail2.asp?pdtid=AC2734 maybe i can convince my friend to get the other motor for 5 bucks(he would have to pay some shipping) |
my friend and I who both have the bit char-g boosters, (i have auto modellista, he has nissan fairlady) both ordered the pair of perfection 4.2 motors, and a 200mah battery.:D
|
I just ordered a 200mAh battery, an Auto Modelista RX-7, and an NSX pullback from them. Can't wait till it gets here :)
