dog bone
 
My front right dog bone falls out during sharp turns. Any ideas? baleisen

Yeah stop turning! hahaha kidding!

The best bet is to get a spacer to put in the ball diff (i used nitro fuel tubing, a real thin piece worked very nicely). This makes it harder for the dog bones to pop out!

When installing a spacer pay close attention to its thickness. If you make it too thick the dogbone will bind up at certain angles of steering and suspension travel. The binding will slow your car down when turning and cause the motor to build up excessive heat.

You have to figure out the right spacer thickness by trial and error. After reassembling your suspension with the spacer run the car while holding it in your hand and moving the steering and suspension through all points of travel. With the car in your hand any change in the pitch of the motor will tell you it's binding up somewhere.
