Anyone ever had a molar pulled?
 

Yesterday i went to the dentist because one of my teeth were really hurting me. It had a huge cavity and had to be pulled, and it was a molar. Anyone ever have to have molar pulled? my jaw is so freakin sore right now. I must be takin 3000mg to 4000mg of pain killers a day.

Dude, I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at the same time. They knocked me out and when I came out of it several hours latter my friend already had me home, then I slept practically the rest of the day away. Man I wont even talk about the things my friend said I did when I was drugged up….. They never happened if I don’t remember them happening is what I say :D.

But yeah, I couldn’t open my mouth all the way for about 10 days or so… That’s the worst part. They gave me some pain pills but I never took any of them cause I’m tough like that ;)

We don't got dental insurance

But we have really good heath insurance (go figure, lol I don't even get it)

I had all 4 wisdom removed aswell... 2 seperate occasions, no gas just a local. It was one hell of an experience i gotta say, it was kinda cool cause there was a whole lotta pressure in my mouth, with the all the yanking of teeth and drilling, but there was no pain and i was awake for the whole thing!
I had coffee milkshakes and mashed potatoes for 3 days... yummy ^_^

hmmm.. my wisdom teeth are growin out, but dont seem to be causin any trouble..

i had a quick root canal done w/o much local tho... cuz the dentist said i had to tell him when it hurt, so he knew when to stop.. it's kinda freaky, havin someone stick a wire into your tooth and scrape away at it.. hurts like a bitch when they stick those paper rods in the holes too.. :mad:

im taking painkillers because i still have another bad tooth and because they make me sleep alot more. (like 4 or 5 more hours a night). Friday night i took 6 painkiller in 4 hours and fell asleep or passed out (whichever), fell asleep at 9pm friday and woke up 4pm saturday.

Ive had one of my front teeth pulled because my teeth were all bunched up in front. They arent now! Didnt hurt and was kinda cool just annoying. I cant imagine having one of my back teeth pulled:eek: .

I had four molars pulled to try to fix my massive overbite (10 mm!). The dentist made my mouth all numb, hooked me up on gas, and let me watch "Jurassic Park!" It didn't hurt except for one time he was yanking at my tooth, and a sharp stinging pain came to me. I don't know how, but who cares. The only sucky thing was I couldn't talk, drink, or eat for the next 3-4 hours because my entire jaw was numb. I tried to drink a glass of water and it spilled all over the front of me!

i know what you mean, i had to have 10 baby teeth pulled cause they would fall out, when i got home i tried to drink some milk and i could tell that i was spilling on my shirt.
