New body idea

If you've already heard about this sorry

I just got this clay at michles and it's perfect 4 making bodies.
i got it today and already made the left side of my 1st new body.
It looks harder than it is. no measurements needed and the clay doesnt stick to your hands. The stuff is called dry hard. it takes a while to dry though.

If you have an old screwed chasis, use that to get an idea on where you should put the wheelwells, holes etc.
The easiest is a dodge viper. You should wait till the clay dries to do the details and ground effects.

I hope you like this, I might have got a little excited over this.

Well, i'm off to burn my old bodies(not realy)

Isn't that stuff really heavy for our little chassis? If it's not I think I might go get some :)

hmmm easy eh? i've had trouble making nice stuff with my putty... it's mainly the "straight lines" issue...

sounds good tho... any pix so far?

to be honest it lighter than the plastic premade bodys.

It is a little hard but compared to modding an already made body it's easy well to me anyway lol

Bits are stronger than you think. I balanced my 1/10th scale pajero on the top of my microsizer and it didnt break

i agree bit bodys are strong... shen bodys are probably the strongest.. and thunder charger bodys are probably the weakest.. although i only use bodys that i have poured from resin on mine..
